Backpacking Camp

Backpacking Camp

During the four-day, three night trip, campers will enjoy day hikes, swimming, fishing, survival skills, and fellowship. Each day will include Bible studies, in order to focus campers on the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the glory of God.

The trip starts at CLBC, where we will gear up, go over the trip plan, and discuss backcountry safety and ethics.

This trip is intended for backpackers of all skill levels. Beginners will enjoy a new adventure into places with mountains, lakes, fauna, flora, and no cell phone service. Experienced outdoors adventurers will enjoy a trip to one of Idaho’s most beautiful mountain lakes.

Campers will learn the principles of lightweight backpacking and backpacking ethics in a Gospel-centered environment.
