CHILDREN’S CAMPS (AGES 7 – 12)

A Christ-centered program with safe and exciting activities will impact your child for years to come! With well staffed cabins and programmed activities, kids camp is a learning and character building week.

Activities

Mountain Bikes, Basketball, Volleyball, Football, Canoeing, Archery, Riflery, Miniature Golf, Soccer, Floor Hockey, Arts & Crafts, Water Games, Drama, Disc Golf, Fishing, Dodgeball.

What to Bring:

Bible, notebook and pen, Sleeping bag and pillow, Clothes, Summer wear (no tank tops), Modest swimsuit, Spending money for snack bar, missionary offering, or t-shirt, Personal Articles: towel, soap, toothbrush, etc.Tennis Shoes, *Sandals*Sandals must have a secure heel strap. Two pairs of tennis shoes are highly recommended. Flip-flops may only be worn to the bathhouse and beach.

What NOT to Bring:

Electronics, Tank tops, Controlled Substances: tobacco, alcohol, drugs, lighters, matches, or other incendiary devices, Weapons: knives, guns, etc.

Conduct:

Campers at Cocolalla are expected to maintain a high standard of Christian conduct in attitude and dress– both boys and girls. Questionable attitudes or actions will be referred to the camp leadership for discipline.

TEEN CAMPS & RETREATS

Age targeted activities challenge teens physically, mentally, and spiritually. With a wide variety of options, both on-sight and off, you are sure to find a program relevant to you.

July 8-13, 2024

Come for five exciting days of games, horses, canoeing, disc golf, chapel and much more! Teens will be challenged with physical, mental, and spiritual activities as part of a program specifically designed for teens.

Each day teens will get to choose a Bible study that is relevant and interesting to them with a focus on Jesus Christ. Most importantly, teens will be challenged to grow closer to Jesus, making Him the focus of their lives. If you are ready for a new camp experience… Teen Camp is for you!

During the four-day, three night trip, campers will enjoy day hikes, swimming, fishing, survival skills, and fellowship. Each day will include Bible studies, in order to focus campers on the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the glory of God.

The trip starts at CLBC, where we will gear up, go over the trip plan, and discuss backcountry safety and ethics.

This trip is intended for backpackers of all skill levels. Beginners will enjoy a new adventure into places with mountains, lakes, fauna, flora, and no cell phone service. Experienced outdoors adventurers will enjoy a trip to one of Idaho’s most beautiful mountain lakes.

Campers will learn the principles of lightweight backpacking and backpacking ethics in a Gospel-centered environment.

Spring Backpacking Trip

April 25-28, 2024

Our spring trips are great for people of all skill levels able to hike 6 miles per day in relatively mild terrain.

Time: Meet at CLBC at 8:00 am, return to CLBC at 7pm.

Where: Kirkwood Ranch in Hell’s Canyon.

Summer Backpacking Trip

August 7-10, 2024

This summer trip is a beginner backpacking trip for all skill levels. Hiking consists of 2-3 miles of hiking each day in relatively mild terrain.

Time: Meet at CLBC at 12:00 Noon, return to CLBC at 4:00 pm.

Where:  Harrison Lake near Sandpoint, ID.

Summer Intermediate Backpacking Trip

August 22-25, 2024

Our spring trips are great for people of all skill levels able to hike 6 miles per day in relatively mild terrain.

Each spring we love to welcome teens from the area to come and be challenged in their walk with Christ. Our Spring Retreat for Teens in specifically designed to encourage, challenge and disciple teens. Whether you are firmly grounded in your faith or simply wondering what it means to follow Christ, you will enjoy coming to this retreat. Make some new friends, spend time asking questions and enjoy the games and activities during the event! Open to all teens!

Fall Retreat

November 8-9, 2024

In this world there are many challenges that face teens today. “How can I live for Christ?”, “Why can I trust the Bible?”, and “How does faith in Christ become real in my life?” are some questions that face teens today. We want to provide you with an opportunity to be encouraged and challenged in your faith in Christ. The Fall Retreat is designed specifically for teens and will help answer these questions and more. Come be encouraged and challenged in your faith!

Virtually unlimited cropping 5pm Fri.-2am Sat. and start again 7am Sat.-7pm Sat. (of course we will pause to eat and listen to our guest speaker).  Generous cropping space (about 1/2 of a 6’ table) & leave your stuff out all weekend!  Free Make & Take Classes (sign-ups available at registration).  Challenges to inspire you to try something new or use your old supplies in a new way and earn chances to win even more prizes!

 What to Bring:

Bible, sleeping bag, pillow, ear plugs, flashlight, bath towel, toiletries, modest pj’s, and your scrapbook supplies (don’t forget photos). PLEASE LABEL YOUR SUPPLIES.   Snacks & drinks will be available for purchase from our snack bar—but feel free to bring your own as well.   Bring a CLOSEABLE BEVERAGE CONTAINER to use in the scrapbooking area-no OPEN containers permitted on the tables…thank you!

One goal of this retreat is to provide you with “down time” where you can slow down and enjoy some free time.

Cocolalla Lake Bible Camp has many activities to enjoy such as horseshoes, basketball, Ping-Pong, volleyball, fishing, foosball, archery, nature hiking, canoeing, sleeping, sightseeing and more! You will also have opportunities for fellowship and visiting with others during this free time.

What to Bring:

Required: Bible, notebook, pen/pencil, sleeping bag, pillow, flashlight, bath towel, toiletries, clothes/footwear

Optional: Ear plugs (incase cabin mate snores!), sports equipment, fishing pole/tackle, camera

Necessities: Snacks and drinks; a heart open to God’s truth
